Hey y’all!
Surprised? Don’t be…I had a running battle with sore throat for almost two weeks…you know the kind where you can hardly swallow even liquids? I had to brace myself for the sharp pain and discomfort whenever I had to swallow something…I was weak most times and slept like there was no tomorrow…
Thank God for a Pharmacist sister, a Nurse mum, a loving husband (he was truly a star during all of this), and an advisory dad…lol.
Seriously though, I thank God for my throat, and the ability to swallow without giving it a thought…thank God the husky/cracked/coarse voice is now a thing of the past…Imagine answering the phone and the person on the other end is scared or thinks I’m a man! hmmmm…the “little things” we so easily forget to thank God for…
With a grateful heart dear Lord, I give you thanks…
In the spirit of thanksgiving, a very B.I.G thank you to all of you who left good wishes, prayers and comments for my younger sister, on my last post, and to those who actually took the time to visit her wedding website…God bless you real good.

So sorry to hear that. Been there with the sore throat. So nasty. It’s like you swallowed razor blades and then drank rubbing alcohol. So hate it!
You had me laughing again how your voice sounded. Hate that too! But the sad thing for me, believe it or not, people mistaken me as my hubby because my voice is on the deep husky raspy side. Hate it, lol. Especially in the morning. Ok dear, glad you had a support team and get your rest and still drink hot drinks dear. Enjoy your weekend!
sorry oh. sore throat is not a funny illness. It seems so simple but it can really spoil so many things – like enjoying what we eat and drink.
