New technology was supposed to be the means by which people would have more leisure time and higher living standards…
The reality is that those in employment are working harder and longer, with ever-increasing numbers of other people being declared ‘surplus to requirements’…
Instead of freedom, advanced technology has brought insecurity. How many of us now feel secure in our chosen careers?
An increasingly competitive marketplace has changed forty-year job and career plans into short-term contracts, assignments, or even worse, no contracts at all…
These things have brought the realisation, that exchanging time for money in a job or profession, rarely creates long-term security or financial freedom.
How many people do you know, who live in the home of their dreams, enjoy spectacular vacations, give their children the education they deserve and live a lifestyle with the emphasis on STYLE?
Unless you run your own business you will rarely achieve these things…
If your answer is YES or you’d like some more information, then contact me by leaving a comment or emailing me @ diihype@gmail.com…Would love to hear from you…
“Instead of freedom, advanced technology has brought insecurity…” surprising but so true…
How are you doing?
You’re write-up is totally true and it is nice to read from you again. How is your week going?
Hey Rita and Myne…I’m doing great, and the week is splendid…thank you…I trust you ladies are fab as well…cheers
Very well written, could have said it better. Technology has limited jobs, proven so much insecurity to the ordinary man. It’s either man picks up his game or suffer in penury…nice to hear from you my sister.
Hi Doyin,
I recently decided that I want to develop a business while working and hopefully quit my job soon :o). I joined Ardyss (have you heard of them?) as a distributor and so far so good. Have you considered selling Ardyss products too esp. as they complement the Forever Living products?
even though i answered yes to d poll question above, i’ll appreciate more information. TIA.
@ YNC; u r very correct…nice to c u here too…how r u doing?
@ Sade; I’m really glad u decided to start ur own business – that really is the way to go, especially in this day and time…I’ve never heard of Ardyss before now, but I’m sure you did ur research well before joining them…all the best with ur business…I’m very content with my Forever business and would love to give it the 100% attention that it deserves, so I would not be considering the Ardyss venture now…however, I would love you to stay in touch with me…let’s compare notes, say in 6 months time…u tell me how far u’ve gone with Ardyss, and I’ll tell u how far I’ve gone with Forever…deal?
@ AdaJesus; Nwa nnem, I’d love to provide you with the information that you’ve requested, but you didn’t leave an email address…can you send me a mail; diihype@gmail.com, or leave ur email as a comment (that’s if u don’t mind)? Speak to you soon…

How are you doing dear?
hard hitting truths right there… thing is what I’m doing right now is prepping me for my future directions.. i think.. 🙂
interesting post., and of course my answer would be yes! to the poll.
yes yes yes!
I am a foremost apostle of your thought. I work as a Business Analyst officially from Monday through Friday (8am to, at least, 7pm) but a Business Planner for SMEs and start-ups anything outside the specified time.
I do these together so I could have some experience before finally “dismissing my boss” and also to reduce the risk of failure. In addition, I would have saved enough for OPEX. Believe me peeps, OPEX (operational expenses) discourages most start-ups else, we will still keep at what we are doing. I itemised some qualities that could help us through business and life in general:
Tenacity (Never give up)
Integrity (Your words and promise MUST equal your deeds)
Diligence (You’re never found wanting)
Professionalism (There’s no better way other than this)
Focus (See the end of THIS before moving to another)
Excellence (The best that could be found around)
Thoroughness (Dot all “i’s” and cross all “t’s”.)
Improvement (It can be better)
See y’all at the top!
